2020 Season (Junior): Earned Bellevue University co-Female Athlete of the Year honors ... Named an NAIA first-team All-American for the second-straight season ... Tabbed as the NAIA's National Setter of the Year as well as the NSAA's Setter of the Year ... Earned NSAA co-Player of the Year honors ... Garnered first-team all-NSAA and all-North Central Region accolades for the third-consecutive season ... Collected NSAA Setter of the Week recognition on four occasions ... Named the NAIA National Setter of the Week on Oct. 13 after guiding the Bruins to three-consecutive conference sweeps while dishing out 11.67 assists and 2.44 digs per set ... Named the NSAA Setter of the Week on nine occasions ... Named the NAIA National Setter of the Week on Oct. 8 when she averaged 11.42 assists and 1.83 digs per set in the three victories, including a four-set upset win over Viterbo where she produced 57 assists, three digs, and three kills ... Served the final six points in the win over Viterbo as the Bruins closed the match on a 7-0 scoring run ... Became the Bruins' first Region Player of the Year since 2011 when Maureen Wardian won the honor ... Junior setter Olivia Galas (Bellevue, Neb.) and freshman outside hitter Eve Fountain (Omaha, Neb.) both earned NAIA and AVCA All-American honors in an announcement made today by both organizations. Galas earned first-team honors while Fountain was named to the third team. In addition, Galas was named the NAIA National Setter of the Year.

4 Bruins named All-Region; Galas earns co-Region POY

Highlighted by co-Region Player of the Year Olivia Galas, four Bruins were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) all-North Central Region team announced today. Joining Galas on the first team was junior outside hitter Sierra Athen, freshman outside hitter Eve Fountain, and junior middle blocker Coree Lipovsky.

The 18th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team saw its season come to a close following a pair of losses Tuesday at the NAIA Volleyball National Championship being held at the Tyson Events Center. The Bruins fell to No. 2 Park University in the opener 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-16), before dropping the finale to No. 18 Dordt University, 3-2 (25-21, 22-25, 20-25, 25-14, 15-11).

Third-seeded and 20th-ranked Viterbo University saved two match points in the third set before battling back to claim the North Star Athletic Association Tournament title with a 3-2 (22-25, 21-25, 28-26, 26-24, 15-4) victory over top-seeded Bellevue University Saturday afternoon at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

The top-seeded Bellevue University volleyball team advanced to the championship match of the NSAA Volleyball Tournament with a 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-19, 25-11) victory over No. 4-seeded Dakota State University Tuesday night at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

After a four-month break, the 12th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team, led by freshman Eve Fountain, overcame an 0-2 deficit to produce a (3-2) 20-25, 25-27, 25-19, 25-15, 15-12 victory over visiting MidAmerica Nazarene University Saturday afternoon at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

For the third time in her career, Olivia Galas has been honored as the NAIA National Setter of the Week. The junior from Bellevue, Neb. (Omaha Gross HS) helped lead the Bruins to three-consecutive sweeps last week, moving the Bruins to 3-0 in North Star Athletic Association play.

Viterbo is the coaches' pick to win the 2020 NSAA volleyball title. It is the sixth-straight year that the V-Hawks are picked to win the league title.
