2019 Season (Sophomore): Became the first player in BU volleyball history to be named an NAIA first-team All-American ... In an announcement made today by Bellevue University Athletic Director Ed Lehotak, sophomore setter Olivia Galas has been named the 2019-20 Bellevue University Athletics Female Athlete of the Year.
The 2019 Bellevue University volleyball season ranked among the program's best overall seasons as BU continued its consistent tradition of success both on and off the court. It marked the 12th time in school history the Bruins qualified for the NAIA National Tournament after finishing second in the North Star Athletic Association regular-season standings. BU finished the year with a No. 19 final national ranking.
A trio of Bruins earned NAIA and AVCA All-American honors in an announcement made today by both organizations.
