Four Bruins named WGCA All-American Scholars

Senior Allison Temple, junior Tylah Saifoloi, and freshmen Megan Harty and Maria Pinedo were named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars in an announcement made today by the organization.

Six honored with major awards at 48th Annual BU Athletics Banquet

Eve Fountain (volleyball) and Madison Nelson (cross country/distance track) were named the co-Female Athletes of the Year. Andy Wilkinson (men's socder) and Elijah Johnson (baseball) were the co-Male Athletes of the Year. Tylah Saifoloi (women's golf) and Tibor Stankovic (men's soccer) were honored as the Academic Athletes of the Year.

Pinedo finishes in a tie for 31st at Nationals

Freshman Maria Pinedo moved up four spots into a tie for 31st place after shooting a 2-over 74 Friday afternoon in the final round of the 2022 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship. The 54-hole tournament was played at the par-72, 6,013-yard Lincoln Park Golf Club. 

Maria Pinedo fired an even-par 72 in Thursday's second round and is currently in a tie for 35th place in the individual standings.
BU finishes in a tie for 19th; Pinedo makes cut

The Bellevue University women's golf team narrowly missed the cut after two rounds of play at the 2022 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship being played at par-72, 6,013-yard Lincoln Park Golf Club (West Course). Freshman Maria Pinedo, however, will advance to Friday's final round of play after finishing in the top 40 individually.

Led by senior Allison Temple, the Bellevue University women's golf team is currently in a tie for 19th place in the team standings after the opening day of play at the 2022 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship. The tournament, which was shortened from 72 holes to 54 holes due to excessive rain, is being played at the par-72, 6,013-yard Lincoln Park Golf Club (West Course).

The first round of action at the 27th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship was scheduled to begin this morning at the Lincoln Park Golf Club, but inclement weather has forced the suspension of play for all golfers. The format will now switch to a 54-hole tournament.

The Bellevue University women's golf team occupied five of the top six spots on the individual leaderboard as the Bruins ran away with the team title at the 2022 North Star Athletic Association Championships Tuesday afternoon at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club.

Bruin golfers occupy the top three spots on the individual leaderboard as the Bellevue University women's golf team sits 18 strokes ahead of second-place Viterbo University atop the team standings after one round of play at the North Star Athletic Association Women's Golf Championship.

Junior Tylah Saifoloi was named the North Star Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Oklahoma City.

BU moves up one spot, finishes sixth at SMB Classic

Paced by the reigning NSAA Golfer of the Week Allison Temple, the Bellevue University women's golf team moved up one spot to finish in sixth place in the 14-team Susie Maxwell Berning Classic being played at the par-72, 6,000-yard Lincoln Park Golf Club (West Course). 

Allison Temple was named the NSAA Golfer of the Week for the eighth time in her career.

For the third time this season and the eighth time in her career, senior Allison Temple has been named the North Star Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week in the Concordia Bulldog Invite. 

Freshman Maria Pinedo is currently tied for eighth place at 2-over par.

Led by the solid play of freshman Maria Pinedo and junior Tylah Saifoloi, the Bellevue University women's golf team is currently in seventh place after the opening round of play at the 14-team Susie Maxwell Berning Classic.

Bruins finish second at Bulldog Invite

Led by senior Allison Temple, the Bellevue University women's golf team is currently in second place in the 13-team Concordia Bulldog Invite being played at the 5,842-yard, par-72 Highlands Golf Course. 

Megan Harty was the top Bruin golfer in the tournament, finishing in a tie for 15th place in the 78-player field.

Led by freshman Megan Harty, the Bellevue University women's golf team finished in fourth place at the 13-team TPC Deere Run Invitational being played at the 5,840-yard, par-72 TPC at Deere Run.

Megan Harty and Allison Temple were BU’s top two individuals as the Bruins are tied for fourth after the first round of the TPC Deere Run Invitational.

The Bellevue University women's golf team improved its first-round score by 31 strokes as the Bruins moved up one spot, finishing in 13th place in the 17-team Paiute Battle being played at the 5,859-yard, par-72 Paiute Golf Club.
