BU moves up one spot, finishes sixth at SMB Classic
Paced by the reigning NSAA Golfer of the Week Allison Temple, the Bellevue University women's golf team moved up one spot to finish in sixth place in the 14-team Susie Maxwell Berning Classic being played at the par-72, 6,000-yard Lincoln Park Golf Club (West Course).

Host school Oklahoma City University ran away with the team title finishing at 4-over par with identical rounds of 290. Southeastern (Fla.) University was 15 strokes back at 19-over par, to finish second in the team standings.
The Bruins finished at 42-over par as a team, moving up one spot from Monday's first round to sixth place overall.
Temple fired the Bruins' top round on the day with a 2-over par 74. She finished the tournament at 11-over par, putting her in a tie for 29th place in the 83-player field. Temple's round was highlighted by three birdies and 11 pars.
Tylah Saifoloi was the top overall finisher for the Bruins in the tournament after shooting a 5-over 77 to go with Monday's 4-over 76. Her 9-over 36-hole total put her in a tie for 20th place. Saifoloi had three birdies and nine pars in Tuesday's final round.
Megan Harty registered BU's second-best round on the day with a 4-over 76. She finished the tournament at 16-over par and in a tie for 43rd place. Harty's round was sparked by a pair of birdies and nine pars.
Maria Pinedo followed up Monday's 2-over 74 with a 9-over 81 and finished in a tie for 29th place in the individual standings. Her final round was highlighted by two birdies and seven pars.
Ilysia Ibnu finished Tuesday's second round with a 17-over 89. Combined with Monday's 7-over 79, Ibnu finished in a tie for 55th place. She had two birdies and four pars in her round.
Oklahoma City's Reagan Chaney captured the individual title, finishing the tournament at 1-under par with rounds of 69 and 74.
Who's in the field?
Ranked teams in the field include top-ranked Oklahoma City, sixth-rated Southeastern (Fla.), and No. 9 Texas Wesleyan.
