BU’s Overwatch team continued its strong play in early Regional and Varsity playoff rounds and Hearthstone competed in their debut competitive match.
BU Overwatch won all eight games they played as they posted a 4-0 record in Tespa matches on the week.
Bellevue defeated Wheaton, 2-0, in League of Legends action and two players ranked up in a Hearthstone Tournament.
Hearthstone becomes the third game to be sanctioned by Bellevue University and the eSports program.

The Bellevue League of Legends team opened the RIOT Collegiate League of Legends season with a forfeit victory over top-ranked Columbia College.
Bellevue won each of their four Overwatch matches on the first day of competition in each of the three Tespa leagues in which they are participating.
Bellevue’s League of Legends team took home the title from the Kansas City International GameCon Expo.
BU Overwatch reached the semifinals in the program’s first event and BU League of Legends made a quarterfinal appearance.
Bellevue was ranked seventh among the best colleges for eSports and Gaming.
