Siedlik nominated for Omaha Sports Commission Award
BELLEVUE, Neb. – For the third consecutive year, Bellevue University head women's volleyball coach Trish Siedlik has been nominated for Female Coach of the Year by the Omaha Sports Commission. Siedlik earned the nomination after guiding the Bruins to another highly successful campaign in 2025, culminating in a top-10 national ranking and a deep postseason run in the NAIA National Championship.
Hosted annually by the Omaha Sports Commission, the OSCAS celebrate the best of Omaha sports—honoring the top athletes, coaches, and behind-the-scenes individuals who elevate the local sports landscape.
The 8th Omaha Sports Commission Awards Show (OSCAS), presented by The Lerner Company, will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at The Relevant Center. The event kicks off with a red carpet at 5:30 p.m., with the awards show starting at 7 p.m. An exclusive after-party will immediately follow the conclusion of the ceremony.
Siedlik's nomination follows a stellar 2025 season in which she guided the Bruins to a 29-5 overall record and a 20-2 mark in Frontier Conference play. Bellevue finished as both the regular-season and tournament runner-up in the league, concluding the year ranked No. 7 in the final NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
Under Siedlik's direction, Bellevue advanced to the NAIA National Championship quarterfinals for the fourth time in program history, marking the Bruins' 18th overall appearance at the national tournament. The 2025 campaign was further highlighted by the selection of three NAIA All-Americans: Eve Fountain, Kealy Kiviniemi, and Savanna Berger.
Coach Siedlik has consistently kept the Bruins in the national spotlight, cementing her reputation as one of the top collegiate coaches in the Omaha area and the NAIA.
