Men’s Soccer: change of time and venue
Men's soccer will host William Penn University at 7:30 p.m. at Omaha South
BELLEVUE, Neb. - Tonight's Bellevue University men's soccer contest against William Penn University, originally scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Tranquility Park has been changed and will now take place at 7:30 p.m. at Omaha South High School.
Bellevue is currently 3-1-1 on the season and is unbeaten in their last four games, allowing just two goals during that span. The team received votes in the pre-season poll and have held their own against ranked teams this season, losing 2-0 in the season-opener at No. 12 Grand View University and drawing 0-0 in double-overtime at Benedictine College this past Friday.
Offensively the Bruins are led by junior Tobias Maertzke (Hamburg, Germany) who has four goals on the season and freshman Rob Smith (Lincoln, England) with two goals and one assist. Defensively, BU is anchored by reigning MCAC Defensive Player of the Week, senior Scott Robertson (Burnley, England) who has an .857 save percentage, 0.71 goals against average, and has not allowed a goal in 252 minutes and 58 seconds of playing time.
