Baseball announces time change for Friday twin-bill
Bellevue and Presentation have moved the start time of their double-header on Friday to 11:30 a.m.
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University baseball team, under head coach Duane Monlux, announced today a change to this weekend's schedule.
The Bruins, who are slated to host Presentation College on Friday and Saturday at John Stella Field at Brown Park, have moved up the game schedule for Friday's double-header against the Saints.
Bellevue and PC will square off in the first game of the double-header at 11:30 a.m. with game two to follow approximately 30 minutes later. The two teams will wrap up their series on Saturday; games are still scheduled to begin at noon.
The Bruins (29-14 | 13-1 NSAA) are currently tied atop the North Star standings with Waldorf University. Presentation (18-15 | 10-6 NSAA) sits four games back in a tie for third place with Valley City State University.
BU has played well of late, winning 22 of their last 23 contests and have averaged 10.6 runs per game during that span while the pitching staff has posted an ERA of just 2.53 during that time.
