Boley, Rivera Camargo earned CSC Academic All-District accolades
GREENWOOD, Ind. — Bellevue University women's cross country and track student-athletes Maggie Boley and Alicia Rivera Camargo were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced today.
Student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as the NAIA, were recognized for the honor, which highlights achievement in competition and in the classroom.
Boley, a junior from Blue Springs, Mo. majoring in Kinesiology, was both an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and an Academic All-Conference selection in the Frontier Conference for both Track and Cross Country. Additionally, she was BU's Frontier Conference Champion of Character representative.
Boley posted her best 6K time of 23:19.1 at the Dordt University-Holiday Inn Express Classic and registered her best 5K time of 21:07.3 at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational. She recorded season-best indoor times of 10:44.54 in the 3000 meter at the Concordia Classic, 3:00.25 in the 1000 meter at the Prairie Wolf Indoor, and 5:14.38 in the mile at the Mount Marty Opener. During the outdoor season, she ran a season-best 800 time came at the Loper Invite when she ran a 2:19.13 and she posted her best 1500 mark of 4:44.91 to win the event at the Frontier Conference Championship. She was also part of the 4x800 team that qualified for the NAIA National Championship, the first relay team to qualify in program history.
Rivera Camargo, a junior from Bogota, Colombia majoring in Health Science, was both an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and an Academic All-Conference selection in the Frontier Conference for both Track and Cross Country. She is a repeat selection as Academic All-District after earning the award for the first time last year.
Rivera Camargo posted her fastest 6K time of the cross country season in the Frontier Conference Championships, clocking in with a time of 25:50.3 and notched her best 5K effort at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational with a time of 21:46.7. She recorded her best mile time of 5:43.08 in the Frontier Conference Indoor Championships where she also helped the team to a pair of top 10 finishes in both the 4x400 and 4x800. During the outdoor season, Rivera Camargo ran a season-best 2:28.87 in the 800-meter at the Sioux City Relays and a season-best 4:59.45 in the 1500 at the Loper Invite. She was also part of the 4x800 team that qualified for the NAIA National Championship, the first relay team to qualify in program history.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Both Boley and Rivera Camargo are eligible for CSC Academic All-America honors, which will be announced Tuesday, July 14.
