Volleyball lands 11 on Academic All-Conference squad

HELENA, Mont. -- Eleven Bellevue University volleyball student-athletes have earned Frontier Conference Academic All-Conference honors, the league office announced today.

Bellevue's honorees include:

• Mila Aiwohi, Junior, Graphic Design

• Savanna Berger, Senior, Business Administration

• Ali Butler, Junior, Health and Human Performance (Pre-Professional)

• Eve Fountain, Graduate Student, Intelligence and Security Studies

• Jayna Hope, Senior, Kinesiology

• Kealy Kiviniemi, Senior, Education

• Kenzie Polk, Senior, Health and Human Performance (Fitness & Coaching)

• A'Lailah Perry, Sophomore, Sport Management

• Rowyn Scheer, Junior, Kinesiology

• Audrey Sandfort, Senior, Business Analytics

• Morgan Wale, Junior, Criminal Justice

To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

The Bruins, ranked No. 7 nationally in the latest NAIA coaches' poll, finished second in the Frontier's regular-season standings with a 20-2 conference record (24-3 overall). Bellevue carries a 14-match winning streak into this week's Frontier Conference Tournament, scheduled for Nov. 13–15 in Carroll, Mont.

BU opens play Thursday at 6 p.m. (CT) against seventh-seeded Valley City State University in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
