Outside hitter Eve Fountain slammed nine kills on .474 hitting to lead the 13th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team to a decisive 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-17) victory over Doane University in the opening day of action at the GoSarpy.com Labor Day Classic being played at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

The 17th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team moved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 25-19) victory over No. 23 Texas Wesleyan University Friday morning in the Alamo Volleyesta Tournament being played at Mabee Gymnasium on the Our Lady of the Lake University campus.
