2022 Season (Senior): Earned second-team NAIA All-American honors and was named to the AVCA all-North Central Region and all-NSAA first team for the fourth-straight year ... Led the Bruins with 382 kills and 432 digs and was second with 31 service aces ... Recorded 15 double-doubles on the season and was named the NSAA Attacker of the Week on Sept. 12 after averaging 3.53 kills and 4.13 digs per set in BU's four matches in the Aquinas/Cornerstone Invitational ... Registered a season-high 20 kills on .487 hitting while adding 17 digs in BU's five-set win over No. 6-ranked Dakota Wesleyan on Sept. 1 ... 2020 Season (Junior - COVID season): Earned first-team AVCA all-North Central Region and first-team all-NSAA honors for the second-straight season ... Started all 24 matches as a pin hitter ... Played as a rightside hitter during the fall portion of the season, before returning to the outside in the spring ... Second on the team with 243 kills and third with 261 digs ... Recorded 32 blocks, 24 assists, and 14 service aces on the season ... Second on the squad with 12 double-doubles ... Twenty-one Bellevue University student-athletes earned North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Fall Scholar-Athlete honors in an announcement made today by the conference office.

Senior setter Olivia Galas (Bellevue, Neb.) earned her fourth-straight first-team All-American nod. Senior outside hitter Sierra Athen (Red Oak, Iowa) garnered her third All-American award after being named to the second team. She was a third-team selection in 2021 and a second-team honoree in 2019. Sophomore middle blocker Jacki Apel (Bellevue, Neb.) earned honorable mention All-American honors.

Led by senior Olivia Galas, the Bellevue University volleyball squad landed four members on the all-North Star Athletic Association first team in an announcement made tonight in conjunction with the NSAA Volleyball Tournament. Galas was named both the NSAA Player of the Year and the NSAA Setter of the Year.

For the ninth time in school history, the Bellevue University volleyball team has earned the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2021 season, the USMC/AVCA announced today. In total, over 1,200 teams across all high school and collegiate divisions earned the academic award.
