Faulkner, Walker earn conference honors

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Symone Faulkner was named the conference's Hitter of the Week and Beth Walker was awarded Setter of the Week accolades.

Faulkner recorded 41 kills, 13 total blocks and hit .326 for the week.

Against No. 23 Davenport University on Oct. 26, she tallied a carrer-high seven blocks. For the season, Faulkner leads the Bruins with 108 blocks.

For the fifth time this season, Walker was named the MCAC Setter of the Week. She tallied two double-doubles in the Bruins' four matches on the week.

In BU's sweep against Point Park University (Oct. 25) Walker recorded 35 assists, 11 digs, five kills and three blocks.

The Bruins will return to conference action on Oct. 29 with matches scheduled against Haskell Indian Nations University and York College. Both contests will be played at the Freeman Center in York, Neb.
