Bruins sign Rousseau to 2025 class
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Tom White announced the signee of Elisa Rousseau (Lyon, France) to a letter of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at BU beginning next fall.
Rosseau is the daughter of Laune Deletre and Gregory Rousseau. She is currently playing at ASF Andrézieux-Bouthéon where she has won the Coupe de la Loire twice.
During her club career Elisa has captained the team and totaled an impressive 21 goals and 15 assists through her defensive duties.
Coach White on Rousseau:
"Elisa will be an exciting addition to the squad who will make an immediate impact. She will add even more competition within our back line. Moreover, Elisa has exceptional vision, technique, and maturity for such a young playing career. We can't wait to bring her in with the Bruins at present as well as those future bruins this fall."
Rousseau joins earlier 2025 signees Lily Naylor (Sheffield, England), Jordan Zielinski (Omaha, Neb./Elkhorn North HS), Olivia Wahl (Papillion, Neb./Papillion-La Vista HS), Izzy Ashby (Omaha, Neb./Papillion-La Vista HS), Lizbeth Barrera (Aurora, Colo./Western Nebraska CC), Prescillia Casu (Ajaccio, Corsica, France/Narcelin Bethelot Insep Paris HS), and Ylana Termeau (Paris, France).
This past season, Bellevue finished with a 9-5-3 record, earned the No. 2 seed in the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament, and reached the CAC title game for the fourth-straight season.
