Bellevue rounds out class with signing of Tex
Baylee Tex (Papillion, NE) has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue beginning next fall.
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Tom White has announced the signing of Baylee Tex (Papillion, NE) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue beginning next fall.
The daughter of Jaime and Ronnie Tex, Baylee attends Platteview High School.
Under the guidance of Katie Hobbs – Tex amounted to 61 career goals with 11 assists. Baylee also made first team all-conference in 2021/2022.
Baylee plays her club soccer at Gretna Elite Academy where she's been a state champ on two occasions (2022 & 2023). Tex club coach is also the women's assistant coach Alan Carr.
Soccer runs through the Tex family where her mother played at College of St. Mary.

Tex joins the previously announced Giuliani Gagliolo (MF/Omaha, Neb./Millard West HS), Bethan Cowd (MF/D, Torpoint, Cornwall, England/Murray State), Aimee Steele (F/MF, Newcastle, England/Murray State), Lily Humes (MF/D, Bournemouth, England/Murray State), Abbi Murphy (MF, Springfield, Mo./MidAmerica Nazarene), Neela Sukhram (GK, Papillion, Neb./Millard South HS), Clementine Smidt (MF/D, Fremont, Neb./Papillion-LaVista South HS), Adi Kasel (F, Omaha, Neb./Westside HS), Morgan Miller (D, Omaha, Neb./Papillion-LaVista South HS), Mia Hurt (F, Bennington, Neb.), Ashlyn Coreas (MF, Omaha, Neb./Ralston HS), and Sienna Phelps (GK, Powell, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne HS) in the Bruins' 2024 recruiting class.
Bellevue wrapped up the 2023 season with an overall record of 12-3-1, claiming the top seed in the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament where they reached the CAC title game for the third-straight season.
