Pendley, Boone honored by MCAC
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Senior midfielder \#Jenna Pendley\# was named the MCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and freshman goal keeper \#Sarah Boone\# earned MCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors for the week ending Sept. 20.
Pendley scored a goal and recorded an assist in the Bruins’ 2-0 shutout of Ottawa University last Tuesday.
Boone earned her second shutout of the season in Bellevue’s 2-0 win over Ottawa , grabbing one save over 90 minutes.
Bellevue is 5-2 on the year. The Bruins will play a pair road games this weekend. Bellevue will play at Friends on Friday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. and at Bethel (Kan.) on Saturday at 12 p.m.
