Adding to their list of academic honors, sophomore Aaricia Noel-Traissac and junior Maria Pinedo have both earned Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar honors in an announcement made today by the organization. A total of 1,497 women's collegiate golfers from 412 programs across all divisions were recognized with this prestigious honor.

In an announcement made today by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), junior Maria Pinedo and sophomore Aaricia Noel-Traissac earned CSC Academic All-District accolades and are now eligible for CSC Academic All-American honors.

Despite shaving 12 strokes off their team score on Wednesday, the Bellevue University women’s golf team failed to make the cut at the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship being played at the 6.059-yard, par 72 TPC at Deere Run.

Maria Pinedo earned NSAA Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this season and the 10th time in her BU career.

The Bellevue women's golf team is currently in 25th place after the opening day of action at the 72-hole NAIA Women's Golf National Championship being played at the 6,059-yard, par-72 TPC at Deere Run.

Bellevue's Maria Pinedo (Neiva, Colombia) and Aaricia Noel-Traissac (Ablon-sur-Seine, France) were both named to the prestigious team today. Pinedo is a junior majoring in Business Administration. Noel-Traissac is a sophomore majoring in Business Administration.

Junior Ilysia Ibnu shot the best round of the tournament, recording birdies on two of the final three holes to win the individual title and lead the Bellevue University women's golf team to its fifth-straight North Star Athletic Association title. The 36-hole tournament was played at the 5,982-yar, par-71 Golf Club at Cedar Creek.

Four Bruin golfers find themselves in the top five and the Bellevue University women’s golf team holds a 29-stroke lead after one round of play at the North Star Athletic Association Women’s Golf Championship being at The Club at Cedar Creek.

Knocking 20 strokes off their first round score was not enough for the Bellevue University women’s golf team as the Bruins were edged out by host Iowa Western at the Bent Tree Intercollegiate.

The Bellevue University women's golf team is currently in second place after the opening round of play at the four-team Bent Tree Intercollegiate being hosted by Iowa Western Community College at the Bent Tree Golf Club.

Due to rain and thunderstorms in the Lincoln area, the second round of the Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invite could not be completed. Monday's first-round results will be the final results of the tournament, with the Bruins earning the team title by 22 strokes over second-place Dakota Wesleyan University.

The Bellevue University women's golf team occupied three of the top five spots to take a commanding 22-stroke lead after the opening day of competition at the 11-team Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invite being played at the 5,965-yard, par-71 Wilderness Ridge Country Club.

Bellevue University head women's golf coach Craig Marsh announced today his first signee for the 2024-25 season with the addition of Tilde-Li Andersson of Gävle, Sweden. She will begin her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning in the fall of 2024.

For the fifth time this season and the seventh time in her BU career, junior Maria Pinedo has been named the North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week for her performances in the Bruins' two tournaments over the last week. 

Maria Pinedo finished in a tie for 12th place at 15-over par.
Pinedo guides BU to fourth-place showing at Kyle Blaser Invite

Junior Maria Pinedo posted the top Bruin rounds on the day as the Bellevue University women's golf team finished in fourth place at the seven-team Kyle Blaser Invitational being played at the 5,955-yard, par-72 Greens Country Club. The one-day tournament consisted of 36 holes.

The Bruins finished the tournament at 65-over par with team scores of 331 and 310, outdistancing second-place Dakota Wesleyan University by 64 strokes. The 310 total in today’s second round was BU’s top round of the 2023-24 season.
