Moore garners NSAA weekly honors
Senior Kim Moore (Scottsbluff, Neb.) was named the North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week in the Ottawa (Kan.) Invitational at the Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kan.
MADISON, S.D. -- Senior Kim Moore (Scottsbluff, Neb.) was named the North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week in the Ottawa (Kan.) Invitational at the Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kan.
Moore recorded a first-round score of 79 (7-over-par) in the Ottawa Invite (5,825-yards, par-72 golf course). She improved her score in the second round by carding a 78 (6-over-par), claiming the individual title with a two-round score of 157 (13-over-par). Moore helped the Bruins claim the Ottawa Invitational tournament team title, posting a 54-stroke advantage over second-place Kansas Wesleyan in the six-team tournament.
The Bruins return to action on Sept. 24 when they host the 36-hole BU Fall Invite at the Platteview Country Club.
