Peve top individual at Midland Spring Invite
Faustina Peve shot a 4-over-par 77, three strokes better than her nearest competitor.

FREMONT, Neb. -- Freshman Faustina Peve was the top individual golfer at the Midland Spring Invite played at the 6,203-yard, par-73 Fremont Golf Club on Monday.
Peve, who was one of three Bruins who competed in the event as individuals, recorded a four-over par 77 on the day. Erin Olsen of Dordt College finished three strokes back at 7-over par.
Morgan Hazzard placed fifth in the event with a 13-over-par 86. Bri Stagge tied for 15th place with a 21-over-par 94.
The Bruins return to action on April 3-4 when they travel to Hutchinson, Kan. to compete in the Sterling Invite.
