Santoyo named MCAC Women's Golfer of the Week

Junior Renee Santoyo (Guadalupe, Mexico) has been named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week in an announcement made today by the conference office. 

Santoyo helped the Bruins claim the team title while tying for first in the 11-team TPC Deere Run Invitational played at the The Player's Club at Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. last week. She posted a two-day total of 8-over par 132 (76-76). Santoyo lost in a playoff to take second overall. 

The Bruins host the seven-team Bellevue University Spring Invitational, Monday-Tuesday, April 13-14 at the Pines Country Club in Valley, Neb.
