Softball doubleheader against Carroll canceled; CSM makeup announced

BELLEVUE, Neb. –Bellevue University softball coach Michala Cimino has announced that today's Frontier Conference doubleheader against Carroll College, has been canceled due to weather.

Following recent weather patterns in the area, officials determined that the surface at the Bellevue Bruins' home field would not be safe for competition. The games will not be rescheduled.

Also today, coach Cimino announced that Bellevue's game against the College of Saint Mary – originally slated for March 17 – will be made up on Monday, Apr. 27 at 6 p.m.

The Bruins (17-16/7-5 FC) returns to action next weekend with a four-game series in Great Falls, Mont. against the University of Providence beginning Friday, Apr. 10 at 3 p.m. BU returns home to the Renner Dennis Outdoor Athletic Complex on Wednesday, Apr. 15 for a 2 p.m. double header against Dakota State University.
