Cimino adds Lindsey Dressman as fifth signee for 2025-26
BELLEVUE, Neb. — Bellevue University head softball coach Michala Cimino announced today the fifth signee in the 2025-26 recruiting class with the addition of right-handed pitcher Lindsey Dressman (Marysville, Kan./Marysville HS). Dressman will begin her academic and athletic career at BU beginning in the fall of 2025.
The daughter of Bradley and Susan Dressman, Lindsey prepped at Marysville High School under head coach Bert Lord.
Dressman earned second-team all-state honors from Sports in Kansas as a pitcher during her junior season. She also received all-league recognition that year and was named honorable mention all-league as a sophomore. Over her career, Dressman logged 583 innings pitched, 43 wins, and 48 shutouts across 583 innings. Offensively, she batted .302 with four home runs, 26 doubles, three triples, 45 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases.
Academically, Dressman is set to graduate as a Kansas Scholar, ranking eighth in her class of 56 students. She has been a Kiwanis Scholar since seventh grade and has consistently been named to the Marysville Honor Roll. She plans to major in Elementary Education at Bellevue.
Dressman played summer ball for the Marysville Magic, coached by Magen Urban and Brad Dressman.
She joins earlier signees Carly Bertolini (Papillion, Neb./Papillion-La Vista HS), Alivia Courter (Yutan, Neb./Millard West HS), Macie Wyman (Omaha, Neb./Millard West HS), and Bayla Bodnar (Ralston, Neb./Ralston HS) in the Bruins' 2025-26 recruiting class.
The Bruins ended the 2025 season with a 29-21 overall record, finishing third in the North Star Athletic Association regular-season standings.
