2023 Season (Senior): Named the NSAA Pitcher of the Year while earning first-team all-NSAA recognition for the second-straight season ... Earned NSAA Pitcher of the Week honors twice during the season ... Led the team with a 14-3 record and a 1.44 ERA ... Second on the team with 83 strikeouts in 92.2 innings pitched ... Batted .362 on the season with 18 doubles, four home runs, and 35 RBIs ... Had 11 multi-hit games, including two games with four hits ... Went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, and two RBIs in BU's 7-3 win over Valley City State on Apr. 1 ... Earned Daktronics-NAIA and NSAA Scholar-Athlete honors.

Fanned a career-high and program second-best 16 batters in Bellevue's 1-0 loss to Dickinson State in the NSAA Tournament ... Registered 14 strikeouts in a 3-0 complete-game shutout over Dickinson State on April 17. 

2020 Season (Sophomore - COVID season): Made nine appearances in the circle, recording a 3-2 record with a team-low 2.60 ERA ... Fanned 24 batters in 40.1 innings pitched ... Recorded a season-high six strikeouts in a complete-game 5-0 shutout victory over Bethel (Ind.) on Mar. 2 ... Batted .364 on the season with three RBIs.

After being sent to the loser's bracket following a 9-1 loss to the No. 2 seed Valley City State University, the top-seeded Bellevue University softball squad stayed alive by rebounding with a 6-1 victory over No. 3 Dickinson State University in BU's second contest of the day. Bellevue (41-11) will now play VCSU for the NSAA Tournament title on Monday. The Bruins will need to defeat the Vikings twice to win the championship.

Senior pitcher/outfielder Lauren Jurek and sophomore first baseman Reese Floro headlined the 2023 All-North Star Athletic Association Softball teams as announced today in conjunction with the 2023 NSAA Softball Championships. Jurek was named the NSAA Pitcher of the Year, while Floro was named the NSAA Player of the Year. Seven Bruins were named to the first team and another four were named to the NSAA Gold Glove Team.
