2023 Season (Sophomore): Earned first-team NAIA All-American accolades ... Garnered NSAA Player of the Year honors ... Named first-team all-NSAA and first-team NFCA all-Region III ... Earned a spot on the NSAA Gold Glove Team after compiling a .986 fielding percentage at first base with just five errors in 350 attempts ... Led the Bruins and finished second in the league with a .442 batting average ... Tied the school single-season record with 22 doubles while also producing three home runs and was second on the team with a .624 slugging percentage ... Second on the squad and ranked fourth in the NSAA with 49 RBIs ... Her .442 batting average ranks seventh in school history.

After being sent to the loser's bracket following a 9-1 loss to the No. 2 seed Valley City State University, the top-seeded Bellevue University softball squad stayed alive by rebounding with a 6-1 victory over No. 3 Dickinson State University in BU's second contest of the day. Bellevue (41-11) will now play VCSU for the NSAA Tournament title on Monday. The Bruins will need to defeat the Vikings twice to win the championship.

Senior pitcher/outfielder Lauren Jurek and sophomore first baseman Reese Floro headlined the 2023 All-North Star Athletic Association Softball teams as announced today in conjunction with the 2023 NSAA Softball Championships. Jurek was named the NSAA Pitcher of the Year, while Floro was named the NSAA Player of the Year. Seven Bruins were named to the first team and another four were named to the NSAA Gold Glove Team.
