Softball cancels Wednesday games at Northwestern
Bruins return to action with four-game set against Presentation this weekend
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Due to anticipated inclement weather in the area the Bellevue University and Northwestern College softball teams announced that their double-header scheduled for Mar. 22 will not be played. It has not yet been determined whether the games will be made up at a later date.
Bellevue will return to play this weekend when they host Presentation College in a four-game NSAA series at the Lied Center. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
To date, the Bruins are 19-8 overall and tied for first in the North Star with a 4-2 conference record. Presentation sports a 13-14 overall mark and is 2-2 in league play.
