Softball announces schedule changes
BU to host Northwestern in DH on Fri. at 1:00 p.m. … changes to Evangel Tournament too
BELLEVUE, Neb. – Due to inclement weather in tomorrow's forecast in Springfield, Mo. Bellevue University softball coach Michala Cimino announced a change to the Bruins' schedule. Instead of traveling to Evangel for a two-day tournament the Bruins will host Northwestern College in a double-header on Friday, Mar. 13 and play two games at Evangel on Saturday.
Bellevue will host Northwestern College, whom they were originally scheduled to play at Evangel, in a double-header on Friday at the Lied Center in Bellevue. The first game is slated for 1:00 p.m. The Lied Center is located at 2700 Arboretum Drive.
The Evangel tournament announced a number of scheduling changes for Saturday as well. Bellevue will now play three games on Saturday against Science & Arts of Oklahoma (10:00 a.m.), Evangel (12:00 p.m.), and Cardinal Stritch (3:30 p.m.).
Additionally, the double-header between Bellevue and Northwestern, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Mar. 17 at Hall of Fame Fields, will now be played at Northwestern.
