In Frontier debut, BU Men picked third in Preseason Poll
HELENA, Mont. — The Bellevue University men's cross country team has been picked to finish third in the 2025 Frontier Conference Men's Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll, released Tuesday by the conference office
.
Defending champion Carroll (Mont.) was selected first with eight first-place votes and 98 points, while Rocky Mountain (Mont.) came in second with three first-place votes and 87 points. Bellevue earned 79 points for third
.
The Bruins enter their first season in the Frontier Conference after winning the North Star Athletic Association title in 2024. BU also advanced to the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship for the first time in school history, placing 32nd as a team in Columbia, Mo.
Bellevue returns eight letterwinners from last year's squad, led by NSAA individual champion Xavier Mallow. Fellow all-conference performers Ronald Kipyegon and Jose Lara Flores also return to pace the Bruins.
