BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University men's soccer coach Mark Heath-Preston announced on Thursday the Bruins' Class of 2021 signees. The seven-member class will continue their academic and athletic careers at Bellevue beginning in the fall.
Comprising the Bruins' recruiting class are defender Sebba Zapata (Armenia, Colombia/Iowa Lakes CC), defender Anthony Cox (Suffolk, England), defender Buster Honeywood (Kessingland, England/Football Industry College, Suffolk), midfielder Lucas Milhomen (Itapecerica de Serra, Brazil/Baker University), forward Antonio Capra (Santiago, Chile/Seminario Pontifico Menor), forward Guilherme Alencar (Fortaleza, Brazil/Midland University), and midfielder Joe Brown (Redditch, England).
Bellevue posted a 16-5-2 overall mark this past season, winning both the A.I.I. Tournament Championship and the NAIA Opening Round - Olathe Bracket. The Bruins advanced to the Quarterfinals for the first time in program history after advancing to the NAIA National Tournament Final Site for the fifth time.
