HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Bellevue University men's soccer team fell to Northwood (Fla.) University 4-1 Saturday afternoon at the WCU Soccer Complex. The Bruins are now 0-3-0 on the season while the Seahawks improved to 3-0-1.
NU scored just 34 seconds into the match and added a second first half goal in the 25th minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. The Seahwks added two more goals in the 50th and 52nd minutes before Graeme Eaglesham found the back of the net at 63:25.
The Seahawks out-shot Bellevue 11-8 and also held a 6-4 edge on shots on goal.
BU will remain on the road next week when they visit Graceland University on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Lamoni, Iowa.
