Men's soccer sweeps weekly MCAC honors
Freshman forward \#Michael Conchie\# and junior goal keeper \#Sebastian Narvaez\# helped the Bruins sweep the weekly MCAC Player of the Week honors for the week ending Oct. 4. Conchie was named the MCAC Offensive Player of the Week while Narvaez nabbed Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
A native of Liverpool, England, Conchie scored a goal and recorded an assist in Bellevue's 4-0 win over York College last Saturday. It marked the first points of his career. Conchie also collected a match-high five shots and four shots on goal in the win.
Narvaez (Cali, Columbia) earned his third Defensive Player of the Week nod this season. He played 66-scoreless minutes in goal in the Bruins' victory over York.
Bellevue, 1-0 in the MCAC, is 6-2-1 on the year.
The Bruins will head to Bethany, Okla. for a 2 p.m. match against Southern Nazarene on Friday, Oct. 9.
