Men's soccer tops MCAC preseason poll
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - Bellevue University has been selected as the favorite to win the 2009 MCAC Men's Soccer Championship according to the MCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released Wednesday (Aug. 19).
Bellevue, which captured the MCAC Regular Season Championship last season, posted a 14-4-1 overall record (4-0 MCAC) in 2008. The Bruins, who are ranked tied for 12th in the 2009 NAIA National Preseason Top 25, advanced to the 2008 NAIA National Tournament Opening Round.
Rounding out the poll are Oklahoma Wesleyan University (2nd), York College (3rd) and Central Christian College (4th).
