Originally slated to play a doubleheader today beginning at 3 p.m., the Bruins and the Blue Hawks will now face off in a tripleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. today at the Renner Dennis Outdoor Athletic Complex.
Updated Series Schedule
-
Monday, April 6: Tripleheader (three 7-inning games) starting at 1:00 p.m.
-
Tuesday, April 7: Single game, tentatively scheduled for 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Venue and Matchup Details
The four-game conference series was originally scheduled to be played in Dickinson, N.D. However, due to cold weather conditions in the region, the series was relocated to Bellevue and will be played at the Renner Dennis Outdoor Athletic Complex. Despite the change in venue and playing on the Bruins' home field, Dickinson State will remain the designated "home" team on the scoreboard for the duration of the series.
Bellevue enters today's tripleheader as one of the hottest teams in the nation. The No. 3-ranked Bruins are currently riding an NAIA-best 16-game winning streak. They boast a dominant 28-3 overall record and remain perfect in Frontier Conference play with an 8-0 mark.
