Bellevue University junior left-handed pitcher Ricky Holm helped lead the Seattle Studs to the National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series title earlier this month.
A native of Marysville, Wash., Holm compiled a 2-0 record with seven strikeouts and a 2.70 ERA in 10.0 innings of work for Seattle.
The Studs defeated the Wellington (Kan.) Heat, 5-1, to win their first National Baseball Congress World Series title.
For the Bruins in 2013, Holm posted a 9-1 record with a 2.50 ERA. He paced the pitching staff in wins (9) and strikeouts (102).
