23 Bruins named (Spring Sport) Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced today the recipients of the 2025 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes award for spring sports, recognizing 23 Bruins for their outstanding academic achievements. This esteemed honor is awarded to student-athletes in various spring sports, including baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's track and field, and softball, who have excelled academically.

To qualify as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year's list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards.

Dordt (Iowa) had the highest number of scholar-athletes at 111. St. Ambrose, Cumberlands (Ky.), Indiana Wesleyan, Marian (Ind.), Cornerstone (Mich.), and Concordia (Neb.) followed with a total number of scholar-athletes in the 90s with 97, 96, 95, 93, and 90 honorees, respectively.
