Men's Golf lands three on CSC Academic All-District team
GREENWOOD, Ind. — Bellevue University men's golfers Randy Christiansen, Thomas Gatlin, and Dylan Rodgers were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Men's Golf Academic All-District Team, the organization announced today.
The CSC Academic All-District program honors top student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as the NAIA, for their combined achievements in competition and in the classroom.

Christiansen earned second-team all-Frontier Conference honors after playing in all 11 tournaments and 30 rounds for Bellevue University. He finished the season with a 77.0 scoring average, ranked third on the team with two top-10 finishes, and tied for third with five rounds at par or better.
Christiansen posted his low 54-hole total of the season at the Dickinson Fall Invite, finishing seventh in a field of 52 players at 5-under par with rounds of 69-73-69—211. He closed the year by tying for ninth at the Frontier Conference Tournament, shooting 11-over par to help the Bruins place second as a team. Christiansen also earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete and academic all-Frontier Conference honors.

Thomas Gatlin | Senior | Lincoln, Neb.
Gatlin was named first-team all-Frontier Conference and earned Frontier Conference Golfer of the Week honors on March 31. He played in all 11 tournaments and 30 rounds, leading BU with a 74.5 scoring average, three top-five finishes, and five top-10 placements while recording seven rounds at par or better.
Gatlin recorded BU's low round of the season with a 5-under 67 at the U.C. Ferguson Classic and posted his low 54-hole total at the Dickinson Fall Invite, finishing second in a field of 52 players at 12-under par with rounds of 68-68-68—204. He placed third at the Frontier Conference Tournament, shooting 5-over par to help Bellevue finish second as a team. Gatlin also earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete and academic all-Frontier Conference honors.

Rodgers was named first-team all-Frontier Conference, Frontier Conference Champion of Character, and a three-time Frontier Conference Golfer of the Week selection. He played in all 11 tournaments and 30 rounds, ranking second on the team with a 74.6 scoring average and leading the Bruins with 10 rounds at par or better.
Rodgers added three top-10 finishes, including a third-place showing at the Dickinson Fall Invite, where he shot 9-under par with rounds of 68-71-68—207 for his low 54-hole total of the season. He tied for ninth at the Frontier Conference Tournament, shooting 11-over par as Bellevue placed second in the team standings. Rodgers also earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete and academic all-Frontier Conference honors.
CSC Academic All-District Criteria
To be nominated, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have completed at least one full academic year at the nominating institution, and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Golf nominees must compete in at least 70 percent of their team's scheduled scoring events or appear in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
Academic All-America Ballot
All three Bellevue honorees will move on to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the announcement of those teams scheduled for July 8.
The Bruins placed in the top five in five tournaments during the 2025-26 season, including a runner-up finish at the Frontier Conference Championship.
