2018 Season (Junior): Appeared in 52 games as the primary catcher en route to earning first team all-NSAA honors … Posted a .332/.401/.495 slash line with 19 extra-base hits and 35 RBI … Scored 15 runs and went 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts … His 13 doubles and 61 hits each ranked third on the club … Committed just three errors in 316 chances behind the dish … Threw out nine of 56 attempted base-stealers (16.1%).

For the eighth-consecutive season, a Bellevue University baseball player has been named the captain of the Omaha World-Herald all-Nebraska team as junior shortstop Kory Longaker (Edmonds, Wash.) was named the honorary captain today, joining four other Bruins on the first team. The team consisted of players from all NAIA and NCAA Division III teams in the state of Nebraska.
