BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Junior outfielder Joe Moran (Scottsbluff, Neb.) has been named the North Star Athletic Association Player of the Week. The announcement came earlier today.

Moran was Bellevue's leading hitter on the week, posting a slash line of .563/.588/.875 to help the Bruins post a 4-1 record for the week.

Moran notched four extra-base hits on the week with three doubles and a triple. He drove in three runs while scoring three as well. He had a pair of multi-hit games, recording four hits against Midland and three in the series finale against Dakota State on Sunday.

It is the first such award of Moran's Bruin career.
