Ninth-ranked Bruins set for showdown with No. 16 York
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Ninth-ranked Bellevue University will play host to No. 16 York College this Friday-Saturday, April 5-6 when the conference's top two baseball teams battle.

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Ninth-ranked Bellevue University will play host to No. 16 York College this Friday-Saturday, April 5-6 when the conference's top two baseball teams battle.
First pitch for both doubleheaders will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Westgate Field in Omaha, Neb.
Bellevue is 26-4-1 overall and 8-0 in league action, including a 15-3 win at second-ranked Oklahoma City University on Feb. 16. The Bruins have won their last 20 games and are off to the best start in school history.
Robert Greco, Ricky Holm and Kyle Kinman anchor the Bruins' pitching staff with five wins apiece and have combined for 134 strikeouts this season.
Bellevue is led offensively by lead-off batter Zack Clark who is hitting .406 and is eighth in the country with 22 stolen bases.
As a team, the Bruins are third in the NAIA in fielding percentage (.970), seventh in opponent batting average (.219), 12th in earned run average (2.73) and opponent strikeouts (255).
York has won its last 19 games and is 28-7 and 10-0 in the MCAC. The Panthers also rank third in the NAIA with a 2.35 ERA.
Tom Korn leads the team in wins (7-1) and has a 1.67 ERA including 29 strikeouts. His seven wins ranks ninth in the nation.
The Panthers have six players that bat .300 or better and are paced by Tyler Helms' .349 batting average.
Bellevue and York have won either the MCAC regular season or conference tournament titles dating back to the 2008 season.
The Bruins lead the all-time series with the Panthers, 61-18.
