Former Bellevue University baseball All-American Matty Johnson recently realized his dream of competing at Fenway Park in Boston.
The outfielder is currently playing for the Lowell Spinners, a Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

While at Bellevue, Johnson earned second team NAIA All-American honors in 2010 and was a two-time first team all-MCAC selection as well as a member of the MCAC Gold Glove team. He led the 2010 Bruins with a .427 batting average and 26 stolen bases.
